I dont think I could ever pick between photography and cars as my passion. So I choose both. Nothing like being at the track. Seeing the live action through one eye, and seeing it through the lens of my Nikon with the other.
Week 9 Theme: Passion
This week is Valentine’s Day in honor the bloody massacre of a bunch of mobsters by some other mobsters during the prohibition in 1929. You gotta have a lot of passion to do something like that.
Week 8: Jerry note to self I may need to burn this rug
I had an interesting time with this, for the life of me I could not get the camera to auto focus on this. I would take it off of AF and try to manual focus which wasn’t happening either. As I started to contemplate using a different lens I noticed that they had a ‘macro’ comment on the lens which said 1 m given I was significantly closer than 1 m from the rug I quickly backed out and here the photo was.
Anatomy Abstraction
I have always had a love for anatomy. This particular piece of anatomy I found on a beach. It’s never what one thinks it is. I think thats why I love it; and took it home with me.

Week 7: Jerry gets chilly
It is Jan in Illinois, it is a historically warm winter, but it was just below freezing and there was water rushing on both sides of me. I took all these photos while wearing gloves.
Week 7: Lake Michigan in winter.
It was a cold one on the shore! I took a lot of risk with this one, as i do with many of my photographs. Listening the the waves is lovely, but i prefer it in the sunny summer days.
