When I was younger I would shoot a roll of film, save up some money and get it processed (and buy some more film.) There was a delay between when I took the photo and when I saw the photo. Interesting things would happen and I would wonder ‘now what the heck did I do that?’ Now with digital cameras the feedback is so fast I see the image and realized what I did. This time it was a happy accident but it will be deliberate in the future.
Week 6: Nightscape.
Night time drives are one on my favorite things. I decided to take the risk and shoot on one of the roads I cruise on. It was very dark and very quiet. It was a wonder night to see and capture the stars on a calm night.
Week 6 Theme: A night landscape
It is winter, which means we have lots and lots of night (today we will have more than 12 hours of dark and less than 10 hours of light.)
Week 5: Jerry says ‘don’t worry that is green, honest.’
Okay, so here is the deal. I HATE taking pictures where people can ask me what I am doing, srsly it creeps me out. I wanted to do something at work cause Groupon has a lot of green. I brought my camera for a week but I never found the time to go get some photos.
It is also January here in Illinois, so not a lot of green outside… except it is unseasonably warm. So I went for a little walk to see what I could find and I found some moss on a log. Boom Green Accomplished!!
Week 5: Cecelia’s green element.
Living in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Green is a very common color. Home of the Green Bay Packers! My favorite green thing currently is this fancy diploma holder. I waited four and a half years to achieve a life time dream and it was worth all the blood, sweat, and tears.
Week 5 Theme: Green!!
So the method by which we decide what to do is decidedly unscientific, but decidedly hi tek. BTW is it just me or does anyone else get freaked out by a screen cap showing less than 20% battery?
Week 4: Daily traffic jams.
Living in the city I am blessed to be very close to both my jobs. One is about 15 minutes away and the other about 5 minutes away. Yet there is always construction on the main roads so my daily commute still holds daily traffic jams.
Week 4: Jerry’s waiting onna train
I have a 2 hour each way commute each day. I try to spend as little time as possible in the trainstation. But today I decided to spend a little more time there. I feel very uncomfortable taking pictures in ‘public’ so I took the late train and arrived before it did to minimize the number of people around.
Week 4 Theme: Commute
For some of us a commute can be a big part of our day. It is that weird period between work and not work. You have to do it, but you aren’t getting paid.
Week 3: Another year. Another resolution.
I often try to set up a workout schedules and follow it. Adding a eating schedule as well with only certain days to eat unhealthy meals. It lasted about half a week. Will try again on January 1st, 2018.
